Wilson’s Mills Police, Wilson’s Mills Fire and Johnston County EMS responded to a single vehicle accident at approximately 7:20am this morning (Wednesday) on Swift Creek Road in Wilson’s Mills. A 61- year old male driver ran off the roadway to the left hitting a tree at an estimated speed at impact of around 45 mph.
The driver sustained injuries, however they are not considered life threatening. The driver was transported to Johnston Health in Smithfield for treatment.
Wilson’s Mills Police cited the man for driving on a revoked license.
