SELMA – Traffic delays were reported Tuesday afternoon following a serious single vehicle accident in Selma. The accident was reported around 4:30pm.
A white SUV traveling on the US 70 Selma Bypass reportedly traveled off the bridge, onto US Highway 301 below. The SUV came to rest on top of a guardrail. The driver was trapped inside until being freed by Selma firefighters.
The victim was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
The State Highway Patrol is investigating cause of the crash.
