Vehicles Stolen Hours Apart From Business, Home

Detectives are investigating whether two vehicle thefts reported hours apart are possibly connected.  Around 6:00pm Monday, an employee at Hill Top Farm Service Center at 6431 Strickland’s Crossroads Road near Four Oaks reported a white 2012 Ford F-150 truck and a 20 foot cargo trailer had been stolen from the business.  The theft occurred sometime between 4:00pm and 6:00pm.  The truck and trailer were valued at $21,000.

At 7:25pm Monday, a homeowner in the 3100 block of Strickland’s Crossroads Road reported their burgundy 1996 Ford Explorer had been stolen from their driveway.  The victim reported seeing two suspects leaving with the vehicle. The SUV was valued at $10,000.
