A veteran received the keys to a new home in Princeton.
A newly renovated, mortgage free home was presented on Thursday to US Marine Corporal Zachary Vinson and his family.
Corporal Vinson spent two deployments overseas. He sustained injuries to his eyes during one of the deployments.
“I was exposed to some blast on my first appointment, so that’s why I’m wearing glasses for light sensitivity and things like that,” Vinson explained to ABC 11.
The new home is part of a program called Operation Home Front with assistance from other organizations.
Vinson and his wife have a 4 year-old daughter. The couple plans to head back to school after Vinson leaves the Marine Corps later this year. Photos courtesy ABC 11
