Victim Claims Gun Was Displayed During I-95 Road Rage Incident

SELMA – No injuries were reported and no shots were fired during a reported road rage incident on Interstate 95. The alleged incident happened January 24 around 2:50pm near the 99 mile marker.

According to the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office, a Kenly man was traveling on the interstate when a person in another vehicle allegedly pointed a firearm in his direction, the victim stated.

Deputies were able to locate the vehicle in question but the individual denied displaying a weapon.

At last report, no charges had been filed.
