Thanks to a hidden video camera in a Johnston County home, deputies were able to make two arrests following a break-in reported March 23rd on Old Fairground Road, near McGee’s Crossroads.
One of the suspects in the case was the victims daughter.
Jessica Marie Long, 20, of Old Stage Road, Angier and Jesse Wayne Holt, 23, of Hugh Drive, Smithfield are accused of breaking into Long’s fathers home and stealing items. They were arrested Friday night on a combined total of eight felony charges.
Each suspect was charged with breaking and entering, larceny, larceny of a firearm, and felony conspiracy. Both were incarcerated in the Johnston County Jail under a $100,000 bond.
