The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a 17 year-old Dudley man. Authorities said the victim died from an apparent gunshot wound and his death is a homicide.
The body of Damien Donall Dancy of N. Running Deer Circle was located in a pathway on Camp Trailee Road near Odom Farm Circle in Dudley around 3:20am Saturday. Deputies said they were initially called to the area to investigate a report of shots being fired. Officers arrived and found Dancy deceased at the scene.
No further information is currently being released.
