The Clayton Chamber of Commerce has recognized Allyson Berger as the SUPER STAR Teacher of the month for March. SUPER STAR teachers demonstrate excellence and leadership in their classroom, creativity and motivation of their students and show a high level of commitment to our community.
Berger expects all of her students to rise to the challenge. She teaches goal setting, allows student assignment choices, and designs appealing lessons for her students. She is a great role model and leader at West Clayton. She is a mentor to beginning teachers, she is on the School Improvement Team, and she participates in all school based community events. She always stresses the importance of community and the importance of being a successful student both in and out of school.
