West Garner Road Closure

The NC Department of Transportation will close West Garner Road just west of Vandora Springs Road in Garner starting around Noon on Tuesday, Sept. 4 and ending around 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 7.

The detour, which will be marked along roadways, will be Vandora Springs Road to U.S. 70 west to Yeargan Road (the reverse if traveling eastbound).

The closure will enable crews to replace two cross line pipes to resolve a drainage problem on a section of West Garner Road.
