West Johnston High School’s Coach Joseph Worley has been named the Greater Neuse River Conference Baseball Coach of the Year.
Worley, who was delighted by the honor, said that the spotlight really could be shared with his entire coaching staff.
“This award is a direct reflection of my coaching staff and players,” said Worley. “Without them, we would not have been as successful as we were. I’m humbled to be selected by my peers for this award but truly humbled and grateful for the young men and coaching staff I got to work with daily.”
