Members of the West Johnston High gymnastic team were recognized by the Johnston County Board of Education recently for winning the NC High School Scholastic Gymnastics State Championship at the Raleigh School of Gymnastics.
Team member Tasha Brozowski was recognized for winning 1st place in the All Around, the Floor Exercise, and the Uneven Bars.
Team member Lily Harrison was recognized for winning 1st place in the Vault.
This is the 2nd team championship for West Johnston High and back-to-back state championships for their gymnastics team.
