WILSON’S MILLS – The westbound lanes of the new US 70 bridge over Wilson’s Mills Road are now open.
Workers were shown Monday afternoon preparing new traffic lights for the exit ramp which will replace the temporary stop signs.
Eastbound traffic continues to be detoured around the bridge to the intersection with Wilson’s Mills Road.
What stop signs are you talking about? The intersection has had traffic lights the whole-time during construction.
Good point but there were 2 temporary stop signs at the bottom of the new westbound exit ramp. The existing lights and the old intersection were gone or no longer in use when the photos were taken.
