A 46 year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly shooting her husband in the face during a domestic altercation inside their home Wednesday morning.
The shooting was reported at 8:45am at 3010 Shoeheel Road outside of Kenly.
Johnston County deputies allege Serena Effie Faw and her husband, Anthony Wayne Faw, 51, were involved in a domestic issue when Mrs. Faw reportedly produced a handgun and shot her husband.
Anthony Faw was rushed by ambulance to Wake Medical Center for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries. Senera Faw was still on the scene when officers arrived. She was later charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
