WILSON’S MILLS – Police are searching for a man wanted for questioning in an alleged sexual assault case.
Police want to speak with Karrington Lamont Thompson. Thompson is from Virginia, but has relatives in the Raleigh and Cary area.
He is believed to be operating a brown 2012 Kia Sorento. The vehicle did not have a license plate when it was last seen. Thompson is alleged to have had sexual relations with a minor. On Thursday, he fled when Wilson’s Mills Police tried to question him.
Thompson has outstanding warrants for larceny of a motor vehicle, felony assault on a law enforcement officer, and resisting arrest. Police believe he may be in the Johnston or Wake county area.
