Strong wind gusts Friday morning toppled the canopy over the fuel pumps at a local convenience store.
Emergency crews responded to Holley’s Open Air Market at 716 S. Brightleaf Boulevard in Smithfield after winds caused the canopy to topple over. The canopy struck the fuel pumps but there was no spill or injuries reported.
