A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 5:00pm this afternoon (Tuesday) to 7:00am Wednesday. The Advisory includes the southern and eastern Piedmont and northern Coastal Plain of central North Carolina.
The National Weather Service is predicting total snow accumulations of one to two inches in the Johnston County area.
Roads, especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazards could impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes.
