A Johnston County woman was arrested on a felony drug charge during a traffic stop by a Johnston County SAFE Team deputy. At 11:07am Monday, the officer stopped a car for a violation in the 14000 block of Highway 50 North.
A passenger in the car, identified as Tammy Lela-Rose Gilbert, 48, of Southerland Road, Clayton was searched by a female deputy. The deputy allegedly found suspected marijuana and methamphetamine concealed inside Gilbert’s pants. A smoking pipe was also located. Gilbert was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. She was held on a $10,000 secured bond at the Johnston County Jail.
Oregon deputies would’ve had to smile at her and tell her to have a nice day.
