A Johnston County woman has been arrested after she allegedly set fire to her boyfriend’s clothes. It happened during a domestic argument at the couple’s home in the Pippin Mobile Home Park on Highway 96 North of Selma Friday morning.
The 27 year-old victim reported his girlfriend set fire to his clothes during the altercation. Johnston County deputies said 25 year-old Brandi Lynn Hayes of Selma admitted to burning the clothes, valued at $1,500.
Hayes was arrested at the scene and charged with felony burning personal property.
