GARNER – A 35 year-old woman was arrested after deputies with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office responded to a suspicious vehicle call.
Around 12:21am February 18, officers were dispatched to the parking lot a convenience store on NC 50 North at Veterans Parkway (formerly NC 42 West).
Deputies said the vehicle was occupied by a female, later identified as Brittany Michelle Drye of Durham.
In plain sight, an officer reportedly saw a glass smoking pipe. Upon closer examination of the vehicle suspected narcotics were located, including 3.2 grams of cocaine, 0.8 grams of crack cocaine, 1.7 grams of methamphetamine, and 0.4 grams of heroin.
Drye was arrested on six drug offenses, five of those being felonies. She was held under a $50,000 secured bond at the Johnston County Detention Center.
