Police say they arrested two women for allegedly engaging in a sexual act in a community park.
Benson Police said they received a call from a concerned citizen about suspicious activity at a picnic table at a public park on S. Lee Street around 7:45 PM Sunday. Officers arrived and allegedly caught the two females engaged in oral sex.
Laresha Denise Bell, 19, of N. Johnston Street, Benson and Chiquita Danyell James, 19, of Old School Road, Four Oaks were arrested. James was charged with indecent exposure and Bell with aiding and abetting indecent exposure. Both teens were transported to the Benson Police Department and asked to provide a voluntary statement about what they were doing in the park, according to a report filed by Benson Police Officer M. Bonilla.
Afterwards, Bell and James were transported to the Johnston County Jail. They were both given a $250 bond and a court date of May 20th.
