For going above and beyond the call of duty, Tammy Wood of Smithfield was named the Johnston Health Ambassador for January. She is the health care system’s benefits specialist.
“She is one of the most compassionate, dedicated employees I’ve ever worked with,” says Doug Harrison, director of human resources. “She truly cares for our employees and goes to great lengths to help them, no matter the situation.”
