Right hand pitcher Steven Worley has played four years of Baseball at North Johnston High School. Worley will continue to play at the next level after signing with North Carolina Central University where he will major in Business Management.
Steven is the first North Johnston player to commit to a Division 1 School for Baseball since the early 90’s. While leading the Eastern Plains 2A Conference in Wins, Steven posted a 8-3 win-loss record, with 3 saves, 1.32 ERA, with 66 strikeouts in 47.2 innings pitched.
Steven was selected to participate in the NC PowerAde State Games Region 3, as well as being named to the NC Baseball Coaches Association All State Team, along with his teammate Blake McLean.
