The cost of breakfast and lunch meals for students in Johnston County Public Schools will increase in August.
The school system has announced prices for school meals, which haven’t changed in two years, will be going up slightly for the 2017-18 school year.
Lunch costs for elementary and middle school students will increase from $2.20 to $2.30. High School meal prices will rise from $2.30 to $2.40.
Breakfast prices for all K-12 students is $1.40. They will increase a nickel to $1.45.
