The Cadillac crossed all lanes of traffic and impacted the median concrete barrier.

The driver of the Cadillac, Ashley McNair, died at the scene. The drivers of the other two vehicles were transported to WakeMed for treatment of their injuries.

  1. So 2 a$$ hats trying to out do each other (common in that area) hit an innocent person who lost their life. Was the hurry worth it ????

  2. This is a shame and Prayers for the family of the deceased. As for the other two vehicles, I would guess, and I stress it is only a guess that one of the drivers was distracted by something. These lanes are so wide there should have been no reason for two cars to hit side by side.

  3. Ashley was a very nice and respectful person. She will be missed by many. Prayers go out to her family and children. Sad way to go at a young age

  4. Ashley was a wonderful person who’s now gone due to the foolishness of someone being an idiot. I hope the charges match the crime.
