19-Year-Old Wanted In Wilson’s Mills Shooting Investigation

WILSON’S MILLS, N.C. — Police are searching for a 19-year-old suspect wanted in connection with a shooting that left a teenager seriously injured.
Julez Giles Ingram is wanted on charges of felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and possession of a firearm by a felon.
On April 4, a 17-year-old male arrived at Johnston Health in Smithfield with a serious gunshot wound. The shooting was initially reported to have occurred at a park in Selma but was later determined to have taken place on Twin Pine Court in the Wilson’s Mills town limits.
Police Chief A.Z. Williams said Ingram’s whereabouts remain unknown.
Anyone with information on Ingram’s location is urged to contact the Wilson’s Mills Police Department or their nearest law enforcement agency.
A motive for the shooting has not been released.
