Numerous items were taken following a business break-in discovered Wednesday near Smithfield.
Employees at Collins, Inc. at 4620 Highway 70 Business East discovered where someone had forcibly entered the business and removed multiple items.
Among the items taken were numerous GPS fish finders, gauges, speakers and other boat and fishing products. One Garmin fish finder was valued at $4,500. Altogether the items were valued at $24,149.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office believes the break-in occurred sometime between 7:30pm Tuesday and 8:30am Wednesday. Anyone with information about the burglary at Collins, Inc. is asked to contact sheriff’s detectives at 919-989-5000. Callers may remain anonymous.
