Three people are accused of terrorizing their neighbor. Smithfield Police said it all began Friday night when several people began partying at a home on North Street. A 41 year-old neighbor told police he went next door and asked them to try and be as quiet as possible.
The man returned to his home, only for three people to force their way into his residence and threaten to cause his bodily harm, according to Police Captain R.K. Powell.
Barbara Marie Howell, 39, Thomas Ruffin Peedin Jr., 34, and Chris Genelle Boyette, 42, all of the 600 block of North Street, were charged with breaking and entering to terrorize or injure. Peedin was confined in jail under a $40,000 bond. Both Howell and Boyette were incarcerated under a $20,000 bond.
