$33,385 In Equipment Stolen From Concrete Company

A local concrete company reported the theft of a large amount of equipment and supplies.

Between Aug. 14th and 17th, someone stole a 2015 enclosed utility trailer from Eldridge Concrete Construction Company Inc. located on Harper House Road in the Bentonville community south of Four Oaks.

The trailer contained concrete tools, saws, hammers, safety materials, and other supplies.  The trailer and equipment had a combined value of $33,385.

This isn’t the first theft in the area.  On July 29th a camp ranger at Camp Tuscarora on Scout Road discovered a maintenance building had been forcibly entered and lawn equipment valued at $30,750 had been stolen.

The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating both incidents.
