Multiple law enforcement agencies participated in a DWI Checkpoint Saturday night on US Highway 117 South near Arrington Bridge Road in Wayne County.
Agencies included the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, NC Highway Patrol, Fremont Police and Mt. Olive Police.
Two wanted persons were apprehended, 4 DWI charges were issued, 5 people were arrested on drug violations, and 1 on a gun violation charge.
In addition, 94 citations were handed out for various violations including no operators license, driving on a revoked license or registration violations.
