Four people received minor injuries Monday morning after a truck and small car collided on Interstate 95 near Selma. The accident occurred at 10:45am in the southbound lanes near the US70 (Exit 97) exit.
A pickup pulling a large camper collided with a compact car. Two people from each vehicle were transported to the hospital for treatment. The accident damaged a long stretch of median guardrail.
The guardrail likely prevented the accident from being more serious. The NC Highway Patrol is still investigating. Photos by John Payne
