4 Residential Break-Ins Could Be Connected

The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating four residential break-ins reported Wednesday to see if they are all connected.  Investigators believe 3 of the 4 are likely connected and haven’t ruled out the fourth break-in may have been committed by the same suspect or suspects.

One of the break-in’s was reported at a home on Reedy Creek Road near Four Oaks. A total of $3,420 in items was taken from the residence while homeowner was away.  Among the items stolen were jewelry, electronics and cash.

A 42 year-old woman discovered a burglary at her home around 6:00pmWednesday on Britt Road south of Four Oaks.  $490 in property was taken including a cell phone and prescription medication.

Around 8:30pm Wednesday, a break-in was discovered at the home of an 81 year-old woman on Elevation Road.  No items were missing.

The fourth burglary was reported on Federal Road. A laptop and flat screen TV valued at $1,820 were stolen.

Authorities ask that anyone who notices suspicious activity in your neighborhood to report it immediately.
