The Town of Clayton has reported a large sewage spill to the NC Division of Water Resources.
Officials said the spill occurred on Sunday, March 14th after a pipe ruptured on the discharge side of an influent pump station at the Little Creek Water Reclamation Facility. The partially treated wastewater entered a storm drain leading to Little Creek.

I am growing weary of ALL the spills of raw sewage from Clayton. Time for some fines…hefty fines!!! Get your act together…
