A fourth suspect in the murder of a Johnston County convenience store clerk was arrested Thursday. WTSB News has learned 19 year-old Julien Antonio Allen of Raleigh was captured in New Hanover County then returned to Johnston County late yesterday where he was formally charged.
Sheriff’s Captain Jeff Caldwell said Allen faces four charges: first-degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, and felony conspiracy.
Also Thursday, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrests of three other suspects in the October 27th slaying of Esmail Alshami, a clerk at the Shop and Go at 13569 NC Highway 39 North, Zebulon, near the Wake County line.
Darius Dontae McCalston and Omarl Alexander Smith, both of Raleigh facing the same charges as Allen. Grecia Anegelica Montes, 20, of Will Road, Middlesex is charged with being an accessory to the crime.
