Five people were arrested after agents with the Sampson County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigation Division served two separate and unrelated search warrants on Thursday.
Agents responded to a residence on East Pleasant Street in Roseboro and served the first search warrant. During the search of the residence, one pound of marijuana was located and as a result three suspects were taken into custody and charged. Arrested were:
Tshawn Williams, 26, of E. Pleasant St. Roseboro was charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana and a bond was set in the amount of $15,000.
Shayla Dixon, 25,of Walker Melvin Ln. Roseboro was charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana and a bond was set in the amount of $10,000.
Nathan Thomas, 24, of E. Pleasant St. Roseboro was charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia. A bond was set at $40,000 for Mr. Thomas.
Agents later responded to a residence on Reagan Lane in Roseboro to follow up on drug related complaints they had received. While at this location, agents established enough probable cause to obtain a search warrant on the residence. During a search of the residence, officers located items consistent with manufacturing methamphetamines. As a result, two suspects were taken into custody and charged.
Justina Phillips, 25, of Reagan Lane, Roseboro was charged with 7 counts of felony meth precursors, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance and misdemeanor storage of hazardous waste without a permit. A bond was set in the amount of $100,000.
Travis Williams, 21, of Plug Lane, Autryville was charged with 7 counts of felony meth precursors, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance and misdemeanor storage of hazardous waste without a permit. A bond was set in the amount of $100,000.
