$5 Stolen In Two Smithfield Vehicle Break-Ins
SMITHFIELD, N.C. – Smithfield Police are investigating two car break-ins reported Friday morning.
The incidents occurred around 6:25 a.m. March 13 in the 200 block of NC Highway 210. A tall, slender man wearing all black and a face mask entered two vehicles.
Police said the only item reported stolen was $5 in cash removed from a child’s wallet.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Smithfield Police Department.

Because would the whole break in even be worth it if you didn’t steal at LEAST $5.00… smh
