5-To-2 Vote: Andrews Reappointed School Board Chair
SMITHFIELD – Lyn Andrews was reappointed Chairperson of the Johnston County Board of Education, on Tuesday. Andrews was reappointed in a 5-to-2 vote with Ronald Johnson and Michelle Antoine voting no.
Terry Tippett was reappointed as Vice Chair in a 5-to-2 vote, with Johnson and Antoine also voting no.
It is the second consecutive term in their respective leadership roles for Mrs. Andrews and Mr. Tippett.

I agree! We need a board that cares abt the kids, not just fighting and getting their name in the paper. At least Half of central office needs to go too! We are too top heavy and the money we save on their compensation could be put back in the schools and for the teachers.
