Smithfield Police are investigating a business break-in.
Around 9:00 AM Monday, Smithfield Police were called to Lambert’s Engines Inc. at 39 Highway 210, just off US 70 West. Sometime between Sunday and Monday, someone broke into the business stealing 13 Stihl chain saws, 4 hedge trimmers, one cut-off saw, and one leaf blower. The power tools were valued at $5,239.44.
Police said there were signed of forced entry into the business.
