Accident Seriously Injures Motorcyclist
KENLY – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Thursday afternoon in a traffic accident on Highway 42 at Creech Church Road.
A 66 year-old man on the motorcycle was reportedly trying to pass a car while traveling eastbound on Highway 42, just as the car began to make a left turn into his path. Troopers said the motorcyclist was attempting to pass the car in a no passing zone.

The motorcyclist was ejected and suffered serious injuries. He was transported to WakeMed. The driver of the car was uninjured.
The Antioch Fire Department and Johnston County EMS responded.

Hope the driver of the car gave a left turn signal.
I don’t think the turn signal matters much since both directions of 42 approaching Creech Church Rd are no passing zones.
Turn signals let people know your intentions. If he knew she was turning, he may not have passed.
NO PASSING ZONE. It’s pretty simple.
