The Band Leadership Council at Archer Lodge Middle School completed a “Backpack Buddies” community service program over the Christmas Break.
The ALMS Band Leadership Council collected over 100 items including canned food, bottled water, hairbrushes, deodorant, toothbrushes, and other toiletries. Students used cash donations to purchase backpacks and filled them with the collected donations.
The backpacks filled with the donated items were given to the Smithfield Rescue Mission to distribute to the homeless community over the Christmas holiday.
