A 14 month investigation into the alleged sexual assault of a 15 year-old girl has led to an arrest.
In June 2015, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office and Johnston County Department of Social Services began investigating the alleged assault of the juvenile. Authorities said the juvenile became pregnant after the assault and later gave birth to a baby.
On Thursday, 29 year-old Alberto Cruz Limon of Byrd Road, Selma was arrested by sheriff’s deputies and charged with statutory rape/sex offense. Limon was placed in the Johnston County Jail under a $100,000 bond.
