A woman has been arrested on charges she broke into a rural church and stole money and electronic items.
Christy Renee Spence, 33, of Tall Pines Place, Goldsboro was arrested Tuesday in connection with a break-in discovered by members of the North East Baptist Church located in Pikeville.
The break-in was reported on July 17th to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Spence was located at the Food Lion on Highway 111 South and detained. She was charged with felony breaking and entering a place of worship, felony larceny, and felony possession of stolen goods. Her bond was set at $15,000.
