Arrest Made In Connection To Four Oaks Area Search Warrant

FOUR OAKS – A Four Oaks woman is charged with several drug violations following a search warrant, last week.

On April 30, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division and STAR Team served the search warrant at a home on Spring Lake Road, off Highway 96 South.

Agents said the residence had allegedly been used for the distribution of methamphetamine and fentanyl. Approximately 60 grams of methamphetamine and 2 grams of fentanyl was seized on April 30. No one was at home at the time.

On May 1, Loretta Gail Baker, age 52, of Spring Lake Road, Four Oaks was arrested in Wayne County and charged with trafficking methamphetamine, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture sell or deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Spring Lake Road home was the location of a suspected fatal overdose death several months ago.

  1. Look at what drugs will do to you. 52 years old and she looks like 70. Good job to the JCSO. Let’s keep the drugs out of JOCO.

    • Keeping drugs out will never ever happen. As long as there is a demand, there will be a supply. This is part of the fabric of life in Amerikkka.

      • Steven, I agree with you, but we need to keep fighting and try to reduce supply and demand.
