Sheriff’s deputies are asking for assistance locating a vehicle and its occupant wanted for questioning following an attempted break-in Tuesday evening at White Memorial Church on White Memorial Church Road in the Willow Spring community.
A church member discovered where someone had attempted to pry open a door to a storage unit at the rural church.
Sheriff’s Captain Jeff Caldwell said a suspicious vehicle was seen in the area around the time the incident was reported. The vehicle was a black pickup truck with a white deer head skeleton sticker in the back glass. The truck was being driven by a white male. The person is wanted for questioning and is not considered to be a suspect at this time.
