Authorities Identify Suspects In Grantham Area Shooting

WAYNE COUNTY — Two people have been arrested and charged following a shooting that left a man wounded in the Grantham community, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded Dec. 14, to a reported shooting at an address on James Hinson Road. Upon arrival, deputies found the victim, identified as Dillon Daniels, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Daniels was transported to Wayne UNC Hospital, where he received treatment for his injuries.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and conducted an investigation. Authorities said investigators determined that Alexander Rodriguez and Tiffany O’Grady were involved in the shooting.
Warrants were obtained, and O’Grady was taken into custody by Wayne County deputies. The Sampson County Sheriff’s Office assisted in locating and arresting Rodriguez. Both suspects were placed in the Wayne County Detention Center and are being held without bond.
O’Grady was charged with accessory after the fact. Rodriguez was charged with attempted first-degree murder.
The investigation remains ongoing.
