Saylor-Claire Herring, the daughter of Ericka and Corby Herring of Benson, competed in a national pageant July 4th – 9th in Orlando, Florida.
Areas of competition included a fitness challenge, state wear, personality wear, sportswear, and evening gown.
She went to Florida with the title of Little Miss North Carolina Cosmos and won the title of Little Miss United States Cosmos. She also received the Presidential Community Service Award.
Saylor-Claire will spend her reign making appearances and doing community service.
