BJ’s Gas Station Now Open At Eastfield

SELMA — BJ’s Gas Station officially opened this week at the Eastfield development in Selma, providing a new fuel option for local residents, as well as travelers along Interstate 95 near Exits 97 and 98. The BJ’s store portion of the project is expected to open by the end of the month.
The gas station offers everyday low fuel prices and potential additional savings through BJ’s Fuel Saver Program. The full store will include a range of retail offerings and a restaurant with a drive-through.
Eastfield is a 435-acre, 3 million-square-foot master-planned, mixed-use development featuring residential and commercial uses. The community includes 211 single-family homes, senior living, and Eastfield Village, which has 348 apartments currently under construction.
Commercial offerings include a business park, retail and medical facilities, coworking spaces, hospitality, restaurants, and entertainment. Recent additions include a 375,000-square-foot retail center, Eastfield Business Park Building 100 (home to Veetee and Crystal Windows), and Triangle East Collaborative (TEC), featuring Old North State Food Hall, JR Cigar, Shield Republic, and Carolina Wholesale Flooring.
The addition of BJ’s Gas Station and upcoming store marks the latest expansion of amenities at Eastfield.

I dislike them adding all the condos around the center. Selma needed more shopping but we could have done without all the tall condos taking up land when other stores/ restaurants could have been added
We need more jobs in the area as well as affordable housing that’s not in the $1000 range.
We need lower prices for houses to help with lower prices for people that can’t afford the high prices but want to own their own home
