FOUR OAKS – A blind pedestrian was struck and killed by a truck Wednesday morning. The accident was reported at 4:52 AM on Lassiter Road near King Mill Road.
Adriene Saria Mosley, 37, of Lassiter Road, Four Oaks was in the edge of the roadway when she was struck by a 1999 Chevy truck driven by Timothy Carl Pearce of Angier. Mosley died at the scene. Pearce remained on the scene and reported the collision.
The State Highway Patrol is still investigating. No charges are expected to be filed.
