SMITHFIELD – Blue Line Aviation, the flight training and education organization based out of the South Eastern United States, has announced the winner of its “Fly Right Scholarship.” The Fly Right Scholarship promises a sum of $100,000 to a graduate of Johnston County who showcases integrity, a positive impact, and the nomination of their teachers and peers.
“We are thrilled to announce that Joshua Roycroft of Johnston County is the recipient of this scholarship,” says Trey Walters, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Blue Line Aviation. “Joshua has shown his dedication to both his education and his local community and, through his hard work, has earned this award and the acclaim of his peers and educators.”
The Fly Right Scholarship was envisioned as a method for young adults in Johnston County who are interested in aviation and are looking for support as they begin their education in the industry. Blue Line Aviation hopes that it will be an excellent resource for encouraging young minds to follow their passions and flight without worrying about the cost of education.
Furthermore, this scholarship was created with the goal of advancing the local community, with the focus on Johnston County showcasing the determination of Blue Line Aviation to advance those living in the place it calls home.

An additional scholarship will be awarded to the individual who came in second as well. Blue Line Aviation is excited to offer this scholarship in the future as it continues to support all those who are interested in Aviation and the careers that are associated with the field.
