A stolen truck was recovered after deputies responded to a break-in Thursday at property owned by the Bentonville Battlefield State Historic Site.
Around 11:20am, a manager at the battlefield site discovered that a vacant home on Battlefield Road, Four Oaks had been forcibly entered. No items were reported missing from the home.
Officers located a 2001 Chevy Silverado pickup truck parked in a wooded area next to the home. The truck had been reported stolen from a farm in Mount Olive.
No arrests have been made.
