Break-In Reported At Four Oaks Area Convenience Store

FOUR OAKS — Someone broke into a convenience store near Four Oaks late Thursday night, damaging a cash register before leaving without taking any money, according to the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.

The break-in was reported around 10:32 p.m. at Safeway, located on N.C. Highway 210 at Lassiter Road.

Investigators said an unknown person forced entry through a window.

Once inside, the person damaged a cash register. No cash was reported stolen.

No arrests had been made at last report.
